The Flume: NH Teen Reader's Choice Award
Each year teens in grades 9-12 across New Hampshire nominate books for the Flume Award, and then vote in the spring to determine the winner.
Last year's winner was Carry On by Rainbow Rowell.
Isinglass Teen Read Award
Each year, 7th & 8th grade students across NH nominate their favorite books published in the past two years, and vote on them in April.
This year's winner was Everything, Everything by Nicola Yoon.
Great Stone Face Book Award
The award is given annually to an author whose book receives the most votes from 4th through 6th graders throughout the state. In April, NH children vote for their favorite book from a list of 25 recently-published titles that are chosen by the Great Stone Face Committee.
The winner of the the 2017 Great Stone Face Book Award was announced at the NH School Library Media Association Conference.
This year the honor goes to Roller Girl by Victoria Jamieson.
Ladybug Award
The Ladybug Picture Book Award is designed to promote early literacy and honor the best in recent children's picture books. A committee of children's librarians from around the state selects 10 picture book titles each spring. Then, during November, New Hampshire children from preschoolers to those in third grade choose the award winner. The winning picture book is announced at the end of the year.
